FourD CEE will guide you through the required investment process and residents permit application procedures from start to finish, eliminating all of the stress.
Qualifications
To apply for Hungarian temporary residency, main applicants must meet important qualification criteria, for example:
- Successfully undergo the due diligence and background verification checks performed at the front end of proceedings.
- Demonstrate that they have sufficient means to support themselves and their family members and are able plus willing to disclose their source of wealth.
- Receive approval by the competent authorities to invest in Hungary currently via one of two government approved investment vehicles.
Investment Process
•Choose Investment: Invest €250,000 in a Hungarian National Bank-registered real estate investment fund.
•Apply for Guest Investor Visa: Required for entry into Hungary; allows multiple entries.
•Submit Residence Permit Application: Apply in person or online via Enter Hungary platform.
•Finalize Investment: Must complete the €250,000 investment within 3 months of application.
•Application Processing: Takes 21–30 days; residence permit card issued within 7 days post-approval.
•Residence Permit Validity: Issued for 10 years, extendable for another 10 years if investment is maintained.
•Schengen Access: Travel visa-free within Schengen for up to 90 days per 180 days.
•Path to Permanent Residency: Eligible after 3 years; citizenship possible after 8 years.
